Building Software for Real-World Needs
ABOUT

I enjoy turning ideas into projects, understanding problems, and building solutions from start to finish.
I'm Ilyas, an Information Systems student based in Yogyakarta. I like talking to people, understanding their needs, and thinking through the systems behind a project. Working across different fields keeps me curious and learning.

Roadmap
A roadmap where I share the experiences I've gained throughout my software journey and the technologies I've learned.
2023
First Steps into Web Development
Started learning web development during high school, focusing on HTML and basic CSS. This was my first experience building and understanding how websites are structured and styled.
2024
Building the Foundation
Started studying Information Systems and strengthened my programming fundamentals through algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, and academic projects. Most courses included a final project, giving me opportunities to apply what I learned in practice.
2025
Expanding My Development Skills
Continued developing full-stack and mobile projects through university coursework while learning PHP, JavaScript, and Laravel. I also joined the IDCamp (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Digital Camp) Scholarship Program to explore web development beyond the university curriculum.
2026
Beyond the Classroom
Started exploring development beyond academic projects through hackathons, teaching, and industry learning programs. Continued working with React and Next.js while exploring PWA development and AI-assisted workflows. Also worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant, supporting students during web development practical sessions.
Present
The Journey Continues
Currently working on university projects while collaborating on real-world projects with local businesses and exploring new opportunities through entrepreneurship and technology programs. I’m also participating in ASAH Led by Dicoding 2026, continuing to learn through hands-on projects, collaboration, and self-directed exploration.
